About
About MentalHealthHub
MentalHealthHub is a collection of plain-language guides for people trying to understand what they are feeling and what to do about it. Each article starts from a question people really ask, such as what anxiety feels like or how to tell burnout from depression, and answers it directly before going into detail.
MentalHealthHub is a research-based reference, not a clinic and not a source of professional advice. The guides summarize published guidance from health bodies, and you can read how that works on how we check our advice. We make no claim to clinical expertise or credentials.
The aim is practical: clearer language for experiences, everyday coping ideas, and less hesitation about seeking help.
What you will find here
- Anxiety for worry, stress responses and when stress starts to interfere.
- Depression for low mood, lost motivation and burnout.
- Relationships for communication, conflict and supporting others.
- Self-care for realistic recovery habits under pressure.
- Therapy for what it is for and how to take the first step.

How to read the guides
These guides are general educational information, not medical advice, diagnosis or therapy. For your own situation, talk to a qualified clinician or mental health professional. If you are in crisis or worried about your safety, call or text 988 in the US, or call your local emergency services (911 in the US). Some categories are still small, and we say so rather than stretching them.
